My Approach

It can be stressful looking for someone to take care of your furry family members. You want to make sure that you can trust them, that they’ll treat your pet right, and are both professional and reliable.

That’s why I start every relationship with a potential client by meeting them face-to-face. This gives us a chance to get to know each other, lets you see how I interact with your pet (and vice versa) and gives you a chance to ask any questions you have.

My goal is to see more happy, relaxed, well-exercised and well-socialized dogs in my community. I have seen firsthand how important routine and exercise are in a dog’s life and what can happen if those needs aren’t fulfilled. Dogs have always been my passion and I count myself lucky to be able to work with them so closely every day. Ensuring my client’s happiness is always my number one priority. Check out what makes The Dog's Life different.

My Story

I have been working professionally with animals for 10 years, gaining experience from:

  • Dog Walking
  • Adoption Counsellor at Oakville & Milton Humane Society
  • Pet Food Stores
  • Doggie Daycare
  • Assissting with Service Dogs
  • Boarding Kennels

I have met and handled hundreds of dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, temperaments and energy levels. I have had extensive training and experience reading animal body language, learning how to effectively communicate with them, and how to build a relationship built on mutual trust and respect.

I currently have a Border Collie/Great Dane mix named Rosie (she's the one giving me a kiss in my picture), as well as a cat named Juno, both rescued from the Oakville & Milton Humane Society where I worked as an Adoption Counsellor. Having spent two years preparing and assisting people to welcome a new pet in their home, I have a solid foundation on what pets need to be successful in a family, and how that is unique to each dog or cat. Both of my pets have brought me so much joy and nothing makes me happier than seeing them relaxed and well-exercised. The only thing better than that is being able to bring that same joy to all of my clients!
